Resco Mobile CRM shows ‘Unknown’ fields in the offline mode. How can I fix this?

“I see fields as “Unknown” when in the offline mode. Why is this? And how can I correct this?”

Unknown means that the information is not available in the offline mode; i.e. records are not stored in the local database of the phone/tablet.

It can happen when:

  1. the target entity is not enabled in the mobile project or

  2. the synchronization filter is filtering out the records that are referenced or

  3. the ‘Max Sync Records’ option is set to a small number (smaller than the number of records in an entity).

Possible fixes:

  1. You need to enable the target entity. If you don’t want to do this, it is possible to only enable downloading of lookup targets on the source entity (learn how to set it up by visiting Woodford Guide part 4.1 Advanced Properties or click here)

  2. Check the sync filters if you are not filtering out the record s you need.

  3. Increase the ‘Max Sync Records’ option in mobile project (section Configuration) or set a sync filter to filter out the records you don;t need in an offline mode.
