Smarter reports, Resco Houston enhancements, and Salesforce Chatter introduced in Winter Update 2020
Bratislava, Slovakia – December 9, 2020 – Resco, the leading provider of enterprise mobility solutions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Salesforce, introduced the newest product features and enhancements in its Winter Update 2020. The highlights include improved report designer, Resco Houston enhancements, new customization options, and Salesforce chatter integration.
Inspections: Streamlined report designing
Before this Winter update, designing reports was only possible in the Report Designer, requiring advanced technical skills. From now on, designing reports is much easier, as users can do it directly in the Questionnaire Designer.
The Questionnaire Designer is easy to handle, therefore even users without deep technical know-how can design reports smoothly. By being able to create forms and design reports at the same time, users can save valuable time. What’s more, they can preview the report’s result immediately – still in the Questionnaire Designer.

Switching between app projects
Users of Resco apps will be able to define multiple app projects and then choose which one to use when signing in. An option to switch between the projects is also available within the settings/setup button. Multiple apps feature means users can access different data and user interfaces in just one click. Instead of having just one project and one experience for each user, companies can create as many carefully crafted experiences for end-users as they need.

Resco Houston now available from all Resco apps
Resco’s remote assistance tool becomes available on Android devices with the Winter Update 2020. Besides regular phones and tablets, users can also use headsets from RealWear or ruggedized devices from Zebra. It allows companies to deploy remote assistance to new scenarios and challenging environments.
Furthermore, Resco Houston becomes available from all Resco apps as it can be added from a standard entity form. Users no longer need Inspections license, which further widens the accessibility of Resco Houston. Resco also introduced an improvement in the precision of the AR drawing. By implementing plane detection functionality on iOS devices, users can now place AR annotations to the scene more comfortable.

Chatter available for users with Salesforce backend
The collaboration platform Salesforce Chatter becomes available for all companies using Resco with Salesforce as a backend. It allows employees to communicate and share information about a particular record in real-time. Various settings are available for synchronization and offline use of the feature. Users can choose whether they want to sync the chat always when online, refresh it only when needed, or during synchronization of all data.
